Originally built to fend-off enemy fire, its armour
plate now fends-off fire on a scale never seen
before, including extreme heat or explosions from
industrial or pipeline fires.
Active defence also comes when deploying the
dozer blade to create firebreaks, extinguish
lingering hotspots, or to remove incendiary
obstacles such as burning vehicles.
